ABOUT ALICE SMITH
Alice Smith Elementary is a K-5 school within the Hopkins Public Schools District, located in the city of Hopkins. Alice Smith is a neighborhood school with a strong community where all families are valued. Our school offers weekly exploration and outdoor education classes, inquiry-based learning, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) specialist classes, integrated Spanish language learning, a Spanish immersion option, and a focus on relationships, community, and unlocking each child’s unique strengths.

We are making several adjustments to our transportation services for the 2025–26 school year. These changes are intended to improve system efficiency and reduce costs, with an estimated savings of nearly $2 million.
