Freedom Schools end summer program with finale

Last week marked our Freedom Schools finale! Students shared what they’ve been working on all summer with their community, featuring poetry, dance, a play and performances from scholars of all ages.

Freedom Schools offers a summer of research-based, multicultural learning designed to build academic engagement, strengthen conflict resolution skills and grow social awareness. At its core, the program helps scholars develop a love for reading that lasts far beyond the summer.
