The League of Women Voters Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Hopkins (LWV MEPH) will host a Hopkins School Board Candidate Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 6:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Hopkins City Hall.
This fall’s Candidate Forums are being held prior to the Nov. 4, 2025, General Election and will include candidates for Minnetonka School Board, Minnetonka Mayor, Minnetonka City Council, Hopkins School Board, Hopkins Mayor, and Hopkins City Council.

Candidates will respond to questions on a wide range of issues important to voters. Community members are invited to submit questions in advance using the LWV MEPH website. Please indicate which forum your question is for. Questions should be forward-looking, relevant to the office, and addressed to all candidates. Questions that are personal, hostile, or unclear will not be asked. Questions may also be submitted in person at the forum.
The forum will be moderated by St. Louis Park League of Women Voters member Deb Brinkman.
Free and open to the public, the event will be broadcast live and posted online for later viewing.
Voting Information
The next Hopkins School Board election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. Three seats will be open, with newly elected members beginning four-year terms in January 2026.
Minnesota voters can cast an absentee ballot starting Sept. 19, 2025. To request an absentee ballot or to find your polling place, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
